CRISPY, CHEESY, GARLIC HASSLEBACKS

Roast potatoes...you have to love them! What if we added cheese, garlic and butter to the mix...even better right?! In this recipe we've taken a typically low protein dish and protein powered it using our Protein Cheese. There's a whole lot of flavour in these potatoes despite the fact that we've significantly dropped the fat and calorie content.

    Ingredients

    • 6-8 Medium Potatoes
    • 50g Cheese
    • 10g Shaker Protein Cheese
    • 50g Light Margarine
    • Parsley
    • 2 Cloves of Garlic

    Method

    Take your potatoes and make thin cuts 3/4 of the way through, to fan out.

    Melt together the margarine, garlic & parsley and pour over the potatoes in a baking tray.

    Season the potatoes well and then rub the mixture into the potatoes to ensure that they are well coated.

    Finish with the grated Protein Cheese, the Shaker Protein Cheese, and then pop into the oven at 200 degrees for around 30 minutes until crisp and golden.
