When it comes to sport, diet has a direct impact on performance and protein should be number one on the menu. Meet Ben Foden, England and Northampton professional Rugby player who truly understands the benefits of our protein cheese.

“Protein is essential in my diet, and to have a product that delivers high protein, zero carbs and low fat without compromising on taste is a winner for me. Cheese is high in protein and fat, but with eatlean I can now put cheese back on the menu.”

Tom, tell us a little more about your health/fitness/wellbeing focus. How you got started, and how you stay motivated?

I was always into football growing up but a serious knee injury forced me into an early retirement and the rehab following lead me into loving the gym.

Motivation is always wanting to better myself, either beating old lifting records or adding size on bringing up lagging body parts.

So how did you discover #ProteinCheese?!

I first discovered the cheese in my local Morrison’s store, I just remembered seeing the ‘protein’ writing on the packet and it catching my eye. It looked nothing like the others.

It means a lot to me, I can show people that anyone can change the way they are if they aren’t happy with how they look and their lifestyle to suit them. There isn’t a one stop fix for everyone.

For me it would have to be making a mean cheese burger. Burgers are my favourite food but often are seen as junk food, using extra lean steak burgers & using the Eatlean cheese on wholemeal bread it actually becomes a low fat lean meal that looks naughty.

Brett, tell us a little more about your health/fitness/wellbeing focus. How you got started, and how you stay motivated?

I was previously overweight in my late teens and into my early to mid twenties, and always struggled with feeling happy about myself and my health. I used to be 5 stone heavier than I am now with very little muscle too. So in my late twenties I started to look more into the fitness and nutrition industry, reading blogs, following “fit pros” online and learning more. I went through all the mistakes most people have, got some success with my weight but not enough for where I wanted to be. I enrolled on a PT/nutrition course to get ‘qualified’, but last year decided to enrol in another Nutrition course to improve my knowledge further. This is Mac-Nutrition Uni, the only evidence based nutrition course available online and is globally recognised as market leading in nutrition. So I guess I stay motivated personally because of years of good habit building, wanting to be fit and healthy for my family and newborn child. I am also motivated to help others do the same, get better relationships with food and to improve their physical health.

So how did you discover #ProteinCheese?!

I came across it in Tesco over a year ago and as soon as I looked at the label I knew I must buy it! The nutrient profile was incredible for a cheese but I wasn’t sure what the taste was going to be like. I was massively impressed as other ‘protein cheeses’ I had tried were tasteless and like rubber. Whereas this was still more like a nice cheddar and nothing like others.

I am honoured to be chosen by a brand that I truly believe is a great choice for the population. I have no affiliation to any other products because I don’t use them. But I have been using Eatlean because I genuinely believe in it. And that it is an easy food swap to increase the nations protein intake (which is under consumed by majority of general population) and make them more healthier in the quest to lose weight.

My favourite has to be making a homemade low carb/high protein pizza using a tortilla or flatbread! The perfect Friday night takeaway. Cheese muffins are also a great one!

Joe, tell us a little more about your health/fitness/wellbeing focus. How you got started, and how you stay motivated?

I first got started in fitness in late secondary school. I was always the ‘chubby kid’ and wanted to lose weight so I took to the school gym and it’s been a part of my life ever since! I always want to better myself, and I am never satisfied, I can always improve and that’s what motivates me.

So how did you discover #ProteinCheese?!

I came across it through Instagram and thought the macros were too good to be true, so I tried it and loved it!

It’s a real honour to have someone think highly enough of you to be given such a great opportunity and it’s amazing to be doing something that I throughly enjoy while also helping others!

My favourite recipe has to be either with fajitas or melted on top of a BBQ chicken sandwich!!

Sam, tell us a little more about your health/fitness/wellbeing focus. How you got started, and how you stay motivated?

Having played football at a very competitive level in my younger years, unfortunately due to troublesome knee issues, I had to put time on my playing days and subsequently that was when i first joined a gym, and started working out with my brothers. In regards to keeping and maintaining motivation with the health and fitness aspect, I’m competing in a Physique class later on in the year, something I’ve wanted to do for a while; so i guess bringing my best package and showcasing it on stage is whats driving me at this point in time.

So how did you discover #ProteinCheese?!

I was approached by George Heler (Founder, Eatlean) asking if i would like to sample a slab of the cheese (through insta). I didn’t think twice, and was very humbled to be asked!

Its very important to be able to showcase products in the health/fitness umbrella that can seamlessly fit into peoples diets without them feeling guilty or thinking that they may be cheating their meal plans etc.

Finally, we’re dying to know what your favourite #ProteinCheese recipe is?

It has to be using #proteincheese melted on a tasty Burger, as a replacement for the congealed cheese slice rubbish!
