Grainne, tell us a little more about your fitness/wellbeing focus. How you got started, and how you stay motivated?
My main focus in terms of my fitness goals and wellbeing, is to be strong, happy and healthy. Since I began weight training and eating a mainly clean diet, my overall health has improved, my energy levels increased, and I am happier in my own skin. My motivation is how it makes me feel. Kate Moss once said “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels” well I say she got that wrong “Nothing tastes as good as healthy feels”.
So how did you discover #ProteinCheese?!
I first discovered Eatlean protein cheese on Instagram. A girl I follow had bought it and was showing it off, that then sent me immediately to their Instagram page to check them out. Initially I though it must be too good to be true, I missed cheese a lot when I was eating a restricted calorie diet, and to have it back on the menu is amazing. It’s now a regular feature in my weekly meals. I pretty much grate it on everything, and it really helps get the protein content of a meal up. Sometimes I even just cut of a chunk off with a knife and eat it.
We’re so excited for you to join our team of Female Ambassadors, what does it mean to represent the wide community of inspiring women focused on health/fitness/wellbeing?
I am truly so excited to be one of Eatlean’s ambassadors, representing a product I really enjoy and believe is a fantastic addition to a healthy balanced lifestyle. I love connecting with other like-minded fitness loving women, learning from them and inspiring each other.
